Level 3 · Intermediate · 12 assignments
The book re-teaches the impératif, passé composé, imparfait and futur as chapter topics, so those assignments double as the review. New content: the passé composé of reflexive verbs, le conditionnel, and le subjonctif présent.
Voix 3 has 7 chapters. This curriculum has 12 assignments across eight tenses. The verb list is the 72-verb core set plus servir and battre, which Chapter 1 names.

Chapters with no VerbMaster assignment: Chapter 2 (description, nationalities, comparatives and superlatives). The usage topics elsewhere (relative pronouns, passé composé versus imparfait, subjonctif versus indicatif) ride on tenses already in scope.
French 3 students should start in week 1 or 2. Chapter 1 opens with the present-tense review and the impératif, so assignments 1 to 3 line up with the first weeks.
Seven chapters over a 36-week year is roughly five weeks per chapter. Suggested cadence: 2 to 3 weeks per assignment, with 1 week for assignment 5 (savoir, connaître). The Chapter 4 block (assignments 5 to 7) and the Chapter 7 subjonctif block (11 and 12) usually need the most time.
Auto-generated due dates
VerbMaster's default spacing is 1 week per assignment. Plan to adjust it when you set up the class.
Voix 3 has no front-loaded review block. The book itself re-teaches the impératif (Chapter 1), the passé composé (Chapter 3), the imparfait (Chapter 5) and the futur simple (Chapter 6) as chapter topics, so those assignments serve as the review.
Reflexive verbs are kept out of the Chapter 1 present review and the Chapter 3 passé composé assignment on purpose, so that Chapter 4's two reflexive assignments (present, then passé composé) contain them, matching the book. A continuing student who mastered the present-tense reflexives in Voix 1 or 2 will find assignment 6 complete. Assignment 7 is new for everyone unless they drilled it in the Voix 2 Passé composé avec être assignment, in which case it shows complete as well.
Assignment 7 covers the eight reflexive verbs in the verb list. If you add other reflexive verbs to the curriculum in the editor, their passé composé forms will land in assignment 4 (Chapter 3) rather than assignment 7, because VerbMaster groups them with the other être verbs. To keep an added reflexive verb in assignment 7, move it there by hand after saving.
Chapter 1 names servir, mettre and battre. Mettre is already in the core set. Servir and battre are added to the verb list for this curriculum, so they appear in every tense from Chapter 1 onward.
The book teaches the subjonctif of regular verbs first, then irregular verbs. Assignment 11 holds the verbs whose subjonctif is built regularly from the ils stem, including the reflexive verbs. Assignment 12 holds the verbs with a stem change in the nous and vous forms (acheter, appeler, boire, prendre, venir, voir and others), the true irregulars (aller, faire, pouvoir, savoir, vouloir, valoir), and avoir and être. If your Chapter 7 outline splits these differently, adjust the two assignments in the editor.
